project overview

BLRB was engaged by the University of Washington Tacoma for the planning, design and construction administration of a conversion of approximately 5,000 SF of existing classroom and lab space to house the university's Clean Water Innovation Research and Modeling laboratory, which will support both instructional and faculty research programs.

This project encompasses the conversion of an existing GIS Lab, a Faculty Lab, and Faculty Lab Office into a new lab intended for both instructional and research functions.  The new lab will also include CAD/CAM modeling technology.  Additional scope was added to include interior renovation of the science building lobby.
