project overview

We worked with the Eastern Washington University Foundation on comprehensive master planning and predesign for a renovation and expansion of the University’s football stadium and field.  When complete, the stadium will accommodate 15,000 spectators, create an iconic campus entry and provide mixed use space that supports both student and community functions.  Home to EWU’s 2011 NCAA Division I champion football team, the field will feature synthetic turf, multipurpose fields and track amenities. Perhaps the most unique element of the master plan is the envisioned integration of student support elements including the campus bookstore, Hall of Fame, student support center and general use classrooms alongside street front commercial and retail space designed to attract local shops, businesses and restaurants to the area.  Future phases of this project are contingent on completion of the Foundation’s capital campaign.
