This year marks 10 years of BLRB Architects’ Portland Office.
In 2012, BLRB Architects was serving multiple clients in Southwest Washington and in the Portland area and made the determination to expand the firm’s presence in Oregon by opening a Portland Office.
BLRB’s Doug DuCharme originally managed the Portland office, balancing his time in Tacoma and Portland. Soon after, BLRB increased its Portland staffing with Richard Higgins (now retired) serving as Principal of the office. Richard was joined later by Jonah Jensen, who is currently Principal of the Portland Office. Most recently, we were pleased to welcome Amy Vohs as a Senior Associate, collaborating with Jonah to provide leadership for the Portland team.
In the 10 years since BLRB opened its Portland office, the firm has served a variety of clients in the area, including Portland Public Schools, Gresham-Barlow School District, Woodburn School District, Hillsboro School District, Beaverton School District, Reynolds School District, Kalama School District, and other K-12, civic and commercial clients.
BLRB Portland’s staff has grown to 10 design and construction professionals, and is currently located in the American Bank Building at 621 SW Morrison in Portland’s Pioneer Square.
