Modern and Sleek with Historic Charm
The 6th Street Apartments project is a comprehensive remodel of a two-story, 4,754 SF building located in the heart of Redmond, Oregon’s Central Business District.
We designed the building to include a new ground-floor garage, a commercial tenant space, and apartments.
The unoccupied second floor was repurposed into two spacious apartments, each with two bedrooms, one bathroom, and an open-concept kitchen, dining room, and living room area.
The commercial tenant space serves as the Redmond home for Ida’s Cupcake Café, complete with customer seating space, a service counter and a commercial kitchen.
The building features a mix of modern and contemporary materials, like brick veneer and reclaimed wood, adding a sleek and trendy aesthetic to Redmond’s up-and-coming Central Business District, while honoring the historic character of the building.
