Expanding the capacity to serve

Our work encompassed planning, design and construction administration for a new family residence and Service Hub at the existing facility that expands the organization’s capacity to serve families experiencing homelessness.

Focus on families

Designed to meet the needs of families with children, the new residence replaced a failing building and doubled the shelter’s service capacity from five to 10 families at a time. Comfort, convenience, and privacy were key elements that guided the design.
