Located in Lacey’s Woodland Creek Community Park, this much-used senior center was in need of expansion and minor modernization to support the growing community demand for its broad menu of senior programs and services.
Our service included planning, programming and design for a new 5,000 square foot addition that would integrate well with the existing facility, and selective modernization of portions of the existing 5,100 SF building.
The new space expanded the flexible common-use room that can be scaled for multiple programs and group sizes, in addition to accommodating more guests for the noon meal service. New health rooms, a fitness studio, and a television and game lounge were also added to supplement and expand existing programming.
